Throughout the week of December 15-19, 2014, NIU professional sales students will be on a NIU charter bus visiting the corporate campuses of Enterprise Holdings, McKesson and White Lodging while spending time with the St. Louis and Indianapolis Chambers of Commerce.

 

Why you ask?  To see potential employers and understand the value of relocation for their sales careers.  Along with several cultural experiences in both cities, the classroom (or shall we say "bus room") will be filled with practical discussions on professional dress, personal finance and budgeting, recruiting through social media, and realizing individual strengths and teamwork.  

 

What an AWESOME opportunity for students and employers!

Background on "Bus Command"

Chuck Howlett is the Assistant Director for the Northern Illinois University Professional Sales Program.  The NIU program, established in 1989, is one of the oldest accredited sales programs in the United States and graduates nearly 70 students annually with a Professional Sales Certificate.  Howlett retired from Lilly USA in 2013 and has more than 20 years of proven success building, coaching, and leading teams to achieve positive results.
